Washington D.C. Photos
The Iwo Jima Memorial Sunrise photograph was taken early on a spring morning just as the sun rose between the Capitol and Washington Monument. The photograph was taken with a Nikon D100 camera with a Nikon 80-200 lens on a tripod. There have been no modifications to the image; it is as it appeared on that March morning. The Bald Eagle on the Potomac was taken with a Nikon D200 camera with a 300mm f2.8 manual focus lens. The eagle was flying down the river with a fish in its talons. It was a bit of a unique photograph of a bald eagle, due to the fact that the photograph is from above. I was positioned on a river overlook just across the Potomac from Fort Washington. The other Iwo Jima Memorial photo was taken a couple weeks earlier at sunrise. The colors were not as brilliant as they were on the photo discussed above. Camera: Nikon D200 lens Nikon 28-70mm f2.8. Arlington this photo was in late winter. The sacrifices of those who have served our country are very evident at one of the most solemn sites in this country. Camera Nikon D200 Lens: Nikon 28-70mm f2.8 |
